Troldtektprisen 2010. Troldtekt Triangles is made in collaboration with Line Feldfos as a designproposition to “Troldtektprisen 2010″.

Troldtekt Triangles is a decorative embellishment with focus on acoustics. They can be used in the modern home, in offices and in public institutions such as hospitals.

The elements can be assembled in a number of geometries and the uses are many; from the classic to the more audacious shape. An example to classic use is to assemble a geometrical panel that runs along the wall.

Additionally, the triangles can be used as orientation on a location. For instance, the triangles can form guiding arrows leading the way, or iconic letters that indicates what floor you are in. To the courageous, only imagination is the limit as how the triangles can be used; You can create humans, animals, houses, trees, wild patterns etc.

The client can also play with different colour combinations and triangle sizes, thus obtaining a unique expression.

The isosceles triangles is produced in 2 sizes, a big (600 mm) and a small (100 mm), both with a thickness of 25mm. One element consists of a moulded Troldtekt plate, with sides covered in rubber so that they are is impervious
to impacts and bumps.

The triangles are hanging on the wall by means of “keyholes”. The clasp are screwed into the wall and the mountings are moulded into the triangle. There are 1 keyhole in the little triangle and 2 in the big triangle.
