Every year, millions of tons of textiles ends up in landfills. In the US alone, almost 11 million tonnes of textiles ends up in landfill, every year. The Offcut Pouf is made from offcuts of new fashion garments. It consists of a high quality cotton wire, made from connected strings of textiles.

FCS Design Award 2011.
A series of toys and an activity center in FSC-certified wood. The toys are composed of many different species of wood. As an alternative to cheap plastic toys and painted, artificial colors, the wood species creates the compositions of contrasting colors and simple patterns that the newborn baby can see.
Layout: A project about influencing and informing the future “konfirmanter” about the possibility of celebrating “Blue Monday” in Aarhus. The project combines the layout of a poster, an information booklet and a map to the youngsters.
The publication explores the tensions in the creative environments in Aarhus – from emerging small entrepreneurs, to large international business successes. It gives an insight in the potential of the city, and statements from the local creatives on how to make Aarhus a better and more creative city.
The lamp is made for the “Think Twice, Think Human” Exhibition at Copenhagen Design Week 2011.
The lamp is a way to re-use a deck of playing cards where one card is missing, instead of throwing the remaining cards out.

When You buy a fancy bed, it is often difficult to find a bedside table to match the design of the bed. The SideTable Bed integrates a bedside table with the layout of the legs, making it a part of the design.
A bathroom series for the elderly, which prevents falling accidents. It consists of a towel rack, a shelf and a toilet paper holder. They come in two versions, one regular and one with a handle to grab and hold on to, in case of a risk of falling.

FIT is a bedside table, that helps the disorganised to keep track of ex. the coffeecup in the morning or the goodnight stories at night. FIT also has a drawer, to store more personal belongings.
A three day workshop about optimizing the urban space at StoreTorv and LilleTorv in Aarhus. Using different lighting solutions, we created a coherent walking and relaxing flow through the two sites.

The students that go to “Familieskolen” typically suffers from concentration difficulty during lessons in school and problems interacting with other children. Illuminated pictograms clearly shows the students when it is time for lessons and breaks, respectively. In addition, the changed furniture also strengthens the passage from the classroom to the adjacent atrium so the students will start using it.

In Aarhus Courthouse, we meet people for good or bad. The lawyer, the hearers, the witness, the accused, the guilty and the innocent. They all meet in the waiting area in front of the courtroom before the trial begins, and here I worked with design improvements to the poor conditions, including the poor acoustics.

AArhus as a Culture City 2017 (danish).
The contest is a cooperation between Kulturby 2017, KulturNAt AArhus, Århus Stiftstidende and the IT-company Itide.
Architectural Planning is ranging from medium scale to large scale, from settlement to town and city – and includes both the landscape as the urban. Here there are architectural, spatial studies of a cross-seeking and sometimes exceeded nature of the architecture of the selected geography and in complex contexts.
3rd semester is a residental project, in a scale that goes from the immediate context of the building, to the building and spaces and to structure and details. I worked with two concepts; First I worked with a flexible floorplan that was easy to modify, and made it possible for different family combinations to live in the house. Then I worked with bringing nature into the interior, and the meeting between cold concrete and warm wood.
